THROWING IN THE TOWEL

Yesterday, I decided. I am done. I am throwing in the towel. I am not going to be able to get everything done that I had hoped to get done for Christmas. I quit. NO, I am not quitting Christmas...just accepting the fact that I can't get everything done. So, I am choosing to enjoy the rest of the season, the people I love, celebrating the birth of my Savior, Jesus. I can buy the cookies that I won't find time to make. I can enjoy the neighbors outdoor lights. The sparkle and magic of the decorations I have put up will take the focus off the dust bunnies under this or that.
I feel better already!

Good girl...now take a deep breath...exhale and get on with enjoying everything that Christmas means...forget what you think has to be done...the meaning of Christmas will be the same no matter if the cookies are bought
and the decorations less. Wise choices and I am glad you are already feeling better...that's the Spirit!!!!

good for you!! I think we over do it by some kind of standards (I don't have any idea who set them) and then its impossible to enjoy life AND CHRISTmas!

I only put up my tree and a handful of decorations.

Sounds good to me! So many times we get wrapped up in all the things we need to do and forget about the important things!

Good job! It's all about rejoicing over Jesus' birth anyway! What can only be happier than that? :)

Only do the things that are important.

There is always a tendency to want to do too much.
