Sometimes it is nice to see an e-mail or tow (maybe even 10), but it becomes a bit annoying when you want to just withdraw and be quiet for a little while.
I always (grudgingly) go through them, although, sometimes I wonder if it would be better to just delete them unread. (Actually, it wouldn't, as proof I present the case of my friend who wrote to tell me her brother had died over Christmas - deleting that email unread would not have been good).
Don't worry... my gmail account is quite sorted out, however, my othe email addresses... ehm ehm ehm, hunderds and hundreds of emails years and years old, all together... :)) And it doesn't bother me :))
I have not cleared out 392, isn't that awful. Ok, you inspired me to fix that. I think I just got lazy.
